Brainerd Memorial Library in Haddam is holding a BIG autumn book and bake sale on Saturday, September 22nd from 9am - 3pm. There will be a preview for booksellers the day before. For a $10 entrance fee, book dealers are welcome to shop the sale from 4-6 PM on Friday, September 21st. Credit cards will be accepted. We are also planning children's crafts, and for a tent and food trucks to be out front during the main sale. On Monday, September 24th from 1-8 PM the Library will hold sale closing specials. Our goal is 12,000 books. Your donations of gently used books and DVDs are tax deductible and greatly appreciated. We accept them all year long. Our permanent Book Nook is open during library hours for browsing. We are located at 920 Saybrook Rd in Haddam. For further info please call 860-345-2204 or view the library website.
